Introduction: The Purpose of GEM
The E4L GEM is a next-generation wearable designed to help individuals restore their energy, balance emotions, and align their daily rhythms using gentle bioenergetic support.
Unlike conventional wearables that only measure data, the GEM both detects and corrects — combining advanced biometric sensing with the delivery of supportive information patterns through light and magnetic fields.
Practitioners can introduce GEM to clients as a bridge between awareness and energetic self-regulation — a way for clients to monitor their vitality and emotional balance while also receiving subtle energetic correction throughout the day.
How GEM Works
GEM continuously measures pulse wave data every 15 minutes to assess energy levels, emotional trends, and physiological balance. This data is analyzed through the E4L GEM App, where users can view their personal metrics in real time.
Unlike typical EMF-emitting devices, GEM uses ultra-low-strength Bluetooth only for short data syncs. Its output fields are gentle, non-disruptive, and purpose-built to harmonize with the body-field through light and magnetic biosignatures rather than electrical stimulation.
Two main energetic functions operate within GEM:

Initial Setup
- Charge the GEM for 2 hours before first use.
- Download and open the E4L GEM App.
- Enable Bluetooth on the user’s phone.
- Sign in with the email used at checkout (or existing E4L credentials).
- Select Add Device in the app → choose the detected GEM → click Connect Device.
- Allow app permissions for Bluetooth and location when prompted.
- Enter biological gender and date of birth for personalized readings.
Firmware Updates
Make sure you have the latest GEM update.

Open the E4LGEM App → Profile (top left icon) → Manage Devices → [Your Device] → Update Firmware. The update will take a couple of minutes and your GEM will restart once the process is completed.
Bluetooth and Connectivity
Once GEM is paired, it does not require continuous Bluetooth.
- The Protect cycle runs automatically and stores data offline.
- Data sync occurs the next time Bluetooth reconnects (recommended daily).
- Correct functions require Bluetooth to be ON during program use.
Bluetooth Button Instructions
Press and hold the side button for 1 second, you will see he light on the front of the device illuminate shortly. The button does not require a strong or prolonged press.
A Blue/Green light indicates Bluetooth is now turned ON
A Blue/Red light indicates Bluetooth is now turned OFF
Practitioner Note:
Encourage clients to turn Bluetooth off at night and sync in the morning. This minimizes device signals while maintaining regular data uploads.
Understanding the GEM App Dashboard
The Dashboard helps users interpret GEM’s bioenergetic readings.
Vitality Score (0–100)
Represents overall life-force and physical energy. Updated once daily as a rolling average.
Emotion Score (0–100)
Indicates emotional balance and adaptability. Updated with every successful pulse reading.
Main Emotional Transformation
Highlights the key emotional theme currently active for the user. Over time, patterns reveal core emotional trends and growth areas. Use the Correct on demand programs to support the transformation.
Sleep Efficiency (Beta & being updated)
Assesses how restorative sleep has been, based on night-time wear data. The GEM needs to be worn at night for the Sleep score to populate. (Bluetooth is not required at night)
The “Correct” Function: On-Demand Energy Support
The Correct feature allows users to run energetic support programs when needed.
These programs deliver targeted supportive information through light and magnetic fields to harmonize the body-field.
How to Run a Correct Program
Open the E4L GEM App → Correct section.
Choose a category and select a program.
The GEM will vibrate gently to indicate the program has started. The information is transmitted through the GEM for 1 minute.

Practitioners can recommend that clients allow 10–15 minutes between sessions for the field to integrate the supportive information before running another program.

Protect operates quietly in the background, delivering continuous bioenergetic balancing based on the user’s subscription status.
It functions as a 24-hour energetic alignment system, running automated cycles that synchronize with the body’s natural rhythms.
Protect includes three core cycles:
- Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Cycle
- Emotional Balancing (from Pulse Data) (coming soon)
- Circadian Rhythm Cycle
Each provides a distinct but complementary form of support.

The TCM Cycle follows the 24-hour organ clock used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, supporting a different meridian every two hours.

The Circadian Cycle aligns energetic activity with the body’s natural biological rhythm of rest, activity, and recovery.
Current GEM Daily Pattern:
Midnight – 5am → Sleep
7am – 8am → Day
9am – Noon → Energy
6pm – 8pm → Chill
8pm – 10pm → Night
10pm – Midnight → Sleep
This synchronization enhances both physical and emotional balance by complementing the TCM cycle. The Circadian Rhythm program can be turned on or off in the Protect screen Settings.
How GEM Measures and Updates Readings
Pulse Readings: Taken every 15 minutes using advanced pulse-wave analysis.
Vitality Score: Updated once per 24 hours (rolling average).
Emotion Score: Updated with each successful pulse reading.
Protect: Runs automatically every hour for 15 seconds, regardless of Bluetooth status.
If a pulse reading fails, GEM will continue using the last successful reading until the next one is available.
