Issue: My miHealth won't turn on
Things To Check
Am I pressing the correct button to turn the device on?
The power button is located on the bottom of the device, just to the left of the port for the charging cable. To turn on the miHealth, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds, then release.
Is the battery inserted correctly?
The miHealth requires a 3.7 volt lithium ion battery. The battery is supplied by NES Health, and is designed specifically to fit in the miHealth battery compartment. Replacement batteries should be purchased directly from NES Health through your Portal shop https://portal.neshealth.com/Shop/Product/239.
-
The wrapping on the battery MUST remain intact.
-
Remove the back panel on the miHealth and plug in the battery.
-
Make sure the connector is fully inserted into the battery port.
-
Replace the back panel.
Is the battery charged?
Plug the miHealth into a computer using the charging cable. The computer must be turned on to charge the miHealth device. Alternately, you can charge the miHealth by plugging the device into a wall outlet using the charging cable and wall outlet adapter that was included with your device.
Allow the battery to charge for 6-12 hours, or overnight.
If the battery is inserted correctly and fully charged, but the device does not turn on when pressing the power button...
-
try unplugging the battery, then plugging it back in after a few seconds.
-
try pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds before releasing.
-
try pressing and holding the two side buttons (left side of the device) along with the power button, together, all for three seconds, then release.
If your device still does not turn on, you may require a new battery. https://portal.neshealth.com/Shop/Product/239
