Caution: Only use this procedure when recommended by a member of the NES Health support staff.
- Download the BioSync Software (Previously NES Desktop) which contains the miHealth Updater:
Windows Version: https://s3.amazonaws.com/nes-software/RELEASE/BioSync/BioSync.exe
MAC Version: https://s3.amazonaws.com/nes-software/RELEASE/BioSync/BioSync.dmg
After the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file and step through the on-screen installation instructions.
-
Ensure your computer is connected to the Internet and the miHealth is unplugged.
-
On the miHealth, press and hold these keys together, at the same time: 2 side buttons, power button and round button on the front. Keep holding the round button and release the other buttons. After a few seconds the miHealth should have a white screen; release the round button.
-
Run the miHealth updater by clicking on the desktop icon named BioSync.
-
Plug the miHealth into a USB port on your computer.
-
Click miHealth updater, then click ‘Recover Device.’ Click ‘Begin Recovery.’ The update process will take a few minutes. Do not unplug the device until the software says ‘Device Recovered.’
-
After a few minutes the device should show a blue screen which says 3x in the top-left. Use the stylus (plastic pen) from the right of the miHealth to press in the top-left corner 3 times (each time it will count down: 3x, 2x, 1x).
-
Repeat the same in the bottom-right corner.
-
Next it will ask you to place the miHealth on its back (with the screen facing upwards), press ok.
-
Next it will ask you to place the miHealth on its right-side (with the intensity buttons facing upwards), press ok while the miHealth is in this position. The miHealth should then restart. You can unplug it at this time.
-
Press Settings (the wrench icon) in the bottom-right of the home screen, then Calibrate Electrodes. Follow the onscreen instructions.
