Two important steps when working with external electrodes:
- Calibrate the electrodes every time you plug them in and every time you remove them.
- Select the correct output based on the type of external electrodes you are working with.
Electrodes come in two main categories:
* Pad-type electrodes (sticky or carbon)
* All others (wands, combs, proves etc...)
How to use external electrodes:
1. Plug in your electrodes.
2. Select a program on the miHealth
3. Select the appropriate electrode type in the bottom left of the screen (see icons below)
4. Tap the wrench icon to go to the settings screen and Calibrate the external electrodes
5. Go back and run your selected program. (ensure you choose the correct electrode icon when changing programs)
6. When you are done, disconnect the connector from the miHealth and go back to the settings screen to calibrate the internal electrodes
Electrode Icons:
The parallel lines represent the Internal electrodes (normal on body use)
The parallel lines + plug and socket indicate internal and external electrodes live simultaneously
The plug and socket symbol alone is for external accessories (wands, combs, probes etc)
The patch with a lead symbol is for external pads (sticky and dry carbon)
**Please be sure to calibrate your device whenever an accessory is attached or removed.**
