Welcome to Week 4, Contraindications & Scope of Practice
Whether you are new to NES Health or have been with NES Health for a while, you now have a better understanding of the BWS system. Likely, you are already using the miHealth and Infoceuticals with clients, so it’s important to discuss Contraindications and Scope of Practice.
NES Health practitioners come from various experiences, education, and certifications. Some of you may be starting a practice from scratch while others may have been working in the field of health and wellness for years. Many practitioners are uniquely specialized to work with specialty groups. Pregnant women or animals, for example. If you are not specialized it’s important to understand when to exercise caution and not work with these groups.

The 10 Takeaways for the Week!
1️⃣Invest in liability insurance 📜 We recommend investing in liability insurance and having your clients sign a disclaimer or waiver. Our NES Health Practitioner social groups are a resource to ask others where to find a good insurance provider.
2️⃣Know your limitations 🚦 If your client has conditions beyond your training, it’s OK to refer them to an appropriate professional. You may still want to offer bioenergetic services as long as they have a specialized professional for their condition. This is especially important for clients who have serious medical or psychological conditions.
3️⃣Don’t contradict 🗯️ If you have a client who’s seeing other medical professionals, never propose they shouldn’t continue seeing them or contradict what they have recommended for treatment.
4️⃣Refrain from working with clients with a purposely suppressed immune system 🫀 This is not limited to but often refers to organ transplants. It’s not that bioenergetics are “bad,” but it could compromise their ongoing treatment and cause legal issues you do not want.
5️⃣Practice caution with pregnant and nursing women 🤰🏼Unless you have specialized expertise in serving this group, we strongly advise you to carefully consider accepting these clients. If you decide to work with this population, ensure you have mutual trust and initiate a milder treatment approach. For example, start with a low drop dosage and cap the protocol at 9 drops. You will want to keep miHealth sessions short and in the off-body mode.
6️⃣Everybody’s response will be different 🚴You may have clients who are slow to respond 🐢and others who respond at a faster, intense rate 🐇In these instances, you may want to start them with a few drops and increase their drops based on what you both feel comfortable with. Adding ESR to their protocol helps in these instances.
7️⃣Pets and animals 🦮🐈🐎 Pet care, accessories, and services are a growing market. However, unless you are qualified to work with this group it is not advised…unless it’s your pets.
8️⃣Electrical implanted devices ⚡NEVER use the miHealth on-body if someone has an implanted electrical device, such as a pacemaker.
9️⃣Non-electrical metal implants 🦿Use caution when using the miHealth on-body over non-electrical metal implants since these areas can be more sensitive. Start with a low setting and increase slowly and gradually. You may decide to avoid this area altogether.
🔟Using the miHealth off-body is considered safe for individuals who can safely use a cell phone 📱 The miHealth is a potent tool, so it's advisable to start usage with short sessions. Users can gradually extend their usage if they can tolerate exposure well.
❇️BONUS ⚖️ Be sure to adhere to all relevant local laws and regulations, as they can differ from one state or country to another. We are unable to offer guidance due to their variations. If licensing is necessary for on-body use of the miHealth in your location, it is essential to obtain the appropriate licenses. Always ensure that any physical contact is made with explicit permission.
