Welcome to Week 20, Using the Client Sign Up Link
Your My Profile section has a Client Sign Up Link that you can use to add new clients. This link is also a valuable tool if you attend health fairs or offer demo scans. In this lesson, we’re going to show you how to shorten your link, how to embed it in your text, and how to create a QR code.
Client Sign Up Link
You can use your Client Signup Form URL to send to prospective clients. To find this link, go to My Account, My Profile, Section 6.
The link you will be using is the first link in this section.
You can use this link on your websites, social media, and email campaigns. Although the link is long, you can use your content platform settings (i.e., Docs, social media, email) to embed the link in your content. You will see a symbol similar to the image below that looks like a link in your platform toolbar.
We will use this article as an example. If we write, Click Here for a Free Account, we highlight the text and apply the link. See the picture below.
And now, we will try that here: Click Here for a Free Account. Log out of your NES Health portal and click the link to go to Joanne’s Client Signup URL.
✳️IMPORTANT ‼️ This link is not a Scan link, or meant to be sent to existing clients to perform a scan. If you send this link to existing clients to scan, it will ask them to create an account (which they already have with you), and they will become frustrated and confused.
Other Methods with the Client Signup URL
The Client Signup URL is long and can be difficult to work with. Three easier ways to work with this URL are to:
➡️Shorten and customize your link.
➡️Generate a QR code
➡️Digital Business Cards
Shorten your Link
You can do an online search query for “shorten link,” and many different sites will generate. Bitly.com is easy to use. You can shorten it once for free. The downside is it won’t be customizable to your brand. Check out this article in the Support section.
Generate a QR Code
QR codes are quick and easy to use with all of your messaging. Adding a QR code to the back of your business card is also a great way to promote your business and gather new clients. This article provides information on how to create a QR code.
Digital Business Cards
Another option to consider is using digital business cards. There is no waste and is less costly. If you search “digital business cards,” you will see a list of options. An example of an easy-to-use digital card is https://popl.co/. A phone application is included in your purchase to add your website, phone number, email, and social media links.
Wrapping Up!
The Marketing Tools section is full of additional free resources you can use on your website and your social media. If you don’t currently have social media accounts, this may be something you may look into. We are happy to help you get started so you can take advantage of an open audience.
