Welcome to Week 7, Adding Clients
This week we are discussing Adding Clients from the Quick Start Lessons. There are a few ways to add clients to your portal, including prospective clients adding themselves. This lesson provides you with alternative methods that work best for you.
Adding Clients from your Client Button
The first way to add a client is through the portal Client button. You will find the Client button on the home page of your portal.
Click on the Add New Client button in the upper right corner of your screen and a new window will open. There are three areas to note in this window:
1️⃣ You can create a unique password or allow the system to generate one. If you prefer to create one, simply type it in the space provided. In the example below, we used Password123.
2️⃣Next, ensure to click the radio button to Save This As a Delivery Address for Future Orders. This feature will save you time if you are drop-shipping items directly to your clients.
3️⃣Finally, click the radio button to Email Login Details to Client so they understand how to log in remotely. This system-generated email will provide your client with the password you created or the system-generated password.
Adding Clients with BioSync
Adding a client with BioSync is a quick option while attending a conference or fair. The first step is opening BioSync, click Scan, and click on Add Client.
Next, after adding your client’s information, click Save to move to the Scan screen.
✳️Important ‼️ Be sure to go back to the Client area page in BioSync and click on Update List to sync your new client to your portal.
Using Your Client Signup Form URL
You can use your Client Signup Form URL to send to prospective clients. To find this link, go to My Account, My Profile, Section 6.
The link you will be using is the first link in this section.
You can use this link on your websites, social media, and email campaigns. Although the link is long, you can use your content platform settings (i.e., Docs, social media, email) to embed the link in your content. You will see a symbol similar to the image below that looks like a link in your platform toolbar.
We will use this article as an example. If we write, Click Here for a Free Account, we highlight the text and apply the link. See the picture below.
And now, we will try that here: Click Here for a Free Account. Log out of your NES Health portal and click the link to go to Joanne’s Client Signup URL.
✳️IMPORTANT ‼️ This link is not a Scan link, or meant to be sent to existing clients to perform a scan. If you send this link to existing clients to scan, it will ask them to create an account (which they already have with you), and they will become frustrated and confused.
Other Methods with the Client Signup URL
The Client Signup URL is long and can be difficult to work with. Three easier ways to work with this URL are to:
➡️Shorten and customize your link.
➡️Generate a QR code
➡️Digital Business Cards
Shorten your Link
You can do an online search query for “shorten link,” and many different sites will generate. Bitly.com is easy to use. You can shorten it once for free. The downside is it won’t be customizable to your brand. Check out this article in the Support section.
Generate a QR Code
QR codes are quick and easy to use with all of your messaging. Adding a QR code to the back of your business card is also a great way to promote your business and gather new clients. This article provides information on how to create a QR code.
Digital Business Cards
Another option to consider is using digital business cards. There is no waste and is less costly. If you search “digital business cards,” you will see a list of options. An example of an easy-to-use digital card is https://popl.co/. A phone application is included in your purchase to add your website, phone number, email, and social media links.
Wrapping Up!
There are several ways to add clients. There is no right or wrong way, but what works best for you and your clients. You may have some tech-savvy clients who can use your link. It’s also likely that you may have people you will need to add for them. Be sure to know what your options are to continue to grow your business!
