You are able to perform BWS Scans directly through the Energy4Life App (formerly the NES Health app) — using Bluetooth and the built-in electrodes.
Follow the steps below to get started:
🔹 Step 1: Install or Open the Energy4Life App
If you haven't used the app before, download and install it on your mobile device:
- Apple Devices: Download from the App Store
- Android Devices: Download from Google Play
🔹 Step 2: Turn on Your miHealth 2.0
- Power on your miHealth device.
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth, and make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
🔹 Step 3: Enable Treatment Mode (Required for Scanning)
Your mihealth must be in treatment mode to activate the skin-detection required for scanning.
Here’s how:
- On the miHealth home screen, tap Session
- Tap Programs
3. Select “BWS Scan” on the screen, open it and select the program also named “BWS Scan.”
If you do not see the BWS Scan folder we recommend connecting to Wifi and selecting 'Update Device" to download the latest operating system.
4. Ensure "On Body" is toggled ON
5. Press Start to engage the scan on your mihealth
🔹 Step 4: Perform Your BWS Scan
- While the BWS Scan program is running on your miHealth, turn Bluetooth on in your phone settings (do not try to pair the miHealth from your settings screen - this is done inside the app)
- Open the Energy4Life app (if the Scan button is not responsive Sign out and Sign back in) use your Energy4Life credentials.
- Tap Scan on your phone
- Choose whether you're scanning yourself or a client
- Once you or the client is selected you will be asked to Pair your miHealth inside the Energy4Life app. Select your miHealth device (name starts with “Mi”) and tap Pair Device
- Follow the onscreen instructions to place your hand on the miHealth electrodes and press Start
That’s it! The app will guide you through the scan process.
Please note: The "Send" option in the Energy4Life app is designed to work with specific E4L integrated life beds. It is not compatible with the miHealth.
