How to take a screenshot on Windows:

The Print Screen (PrtScn) key: This is the easiest way to take a screenshot on Windows. Press the PrtScn key on your keyboard, and the screenshot will be saved to your clipboard.

The Windows key + Print Screen: If you press the Windows key and the PrtScn key at the same time, the screenshot will be saved in the Pictures folder in a subfolder named Screenshots.

Snipping Tool: This is a built-in tool in Windows that allows you to take a screenshot of a specific area of your screen. To use this tool, open the Start menu and type "Snipping Tool." Select the tool from the search results, and then click "New." Use your mouse to select the area of your screen you want to capture, and then click "Save" to save the screenshot.

Windows + Shift + S: This shortcut is available in Windows 10 and later versions. Pressing this key combination allows you to take a screenshot of a specific area of your screen. Once you press the keys, the screen will dim, and you can click and drag the cursor to select the area you want to capture. The screenshot will then be saved to your clipboard.
How to take a screenshot on Mac:

Command + Shift + 3: This is the easiest way to take a screenshot on Mac. Press the Command, Shift, and 3 keys at the same time, and the screenshot will be saved to your desktop.

Command + Shift + 4: This allows you to take a screenshot of a specific area of your screen. Press the Command, Shift, and 4 keys at the same time, and the cursor will change to a crosshair. Click and drag the cursor to select the area you want to capture, and then release the mouse button. The screenshot will be saved to your desktop.

Command + Shift + 5: This shortcut is available in macOS Mojave and later versions. Pressing this key combination allows you to take a screenshot or a screen recording. Once you press the keys, a menu will appear, allowing you to select whether you want to take a screenshot of the entire screen, a specific window, or a specific area of the screen. You can also select whether you want to record the screen or capture the mouse cursor.
