Scope of Practice: If you have purchased a hand scanner to use it with animals, you agree to work within your scope of practice. If you are professionally qualified to work with animals, you may use the BWS software, Infoceuticals, and miHealth with animals in addition to humans. For safety and other reasons, if you are not professionally qualified to work with animals, we ask that you use the software, Infoceuticals, and miHealth accordingly and work only with pets close to you – your own pets and pets of friends and family that you can safely handle.
Creating an account for your pet
The software is currently designed to work with dogs, cats, and horses.
To get the appropriate illustrations in the software, you will be prompted to choose the animal type.
When asked for the email address of the pet client, use your email address followed by a hashtag symbol
and the animal's name. If you have a dog named Fred, the email address for his account would be:
youremailaddress#fred (e.g., sallyg@yahoo.com#fred).
Setting up the account in this manner ensures that all email communication from NES regarding your pet will come to your email address.
The software itself is used in the same way as it is for humans–you will see the same types of screens and
the Recommendations page with Infoceutical and miHealth recommendations to support the animal. The
primary difference is that you will not see the details of each Energetic Integrator for an animal.
Scanning your pet
You have the option to scan your pet using your computer and a hand scanner or miHealth or using the NES Health app on a mobile device with a bluetooth hand scanner.
Scanning from your computer
● If you haven’t already done so, the first thing you will need to do is download the BioSync software
found in your portal under Resources.
● Open BioSync if it doesn’t automatically open.
● Click ‘Scan.”
● Log in with your pet’s email address and password so that the scan results are specific to your
pet in species and name.
● Connect the hand scanner to your computer with the provided USB cord.
Scanning from a mobile device
Follow the instructions in this article to download and use the NES Health App on your smartphone or tablet.
● When the scanner is detected by the computer or NES Health App, place the top side of the hand scanner on the animal’s body. Locations with less fur are ideal, such as the belly. For most pets, placing the scanner on their outer fur is fine if there are no places with less fur. You do not have to use your pet's
paw/hoof to scan your pet.
● Click ‘Start Scan.’
● The scan will take about 10 seconds.
● The results will be sent immediately to your NES Practitioner or Coach.
Note: As with humans, the electrodes of the miHealth device can also be used to scan pets.
Infoceutical Protocols
Our software automatically defaults to 15 drops of each Infoceutical per day.
However, certain animal specialists have suggested dosages based on the size of the animal (1-9 drops
for cats, 6-15 drops for dogs, and 15-28 for horses), although these are not chemical doses, and the
strength of the information moves up rather slowly. This means that 15 drops is theoretically only about 40% stronger than 6 drops. As a practitioner, you will find what works best for you in supporting animals.
Whatever number of drops you might normally start at for an animal, you are welcome to start out at even lower numbers of drops for especially sensitive or frail animals. Move up in the number of drops each few days until you perceive a corrective response, or until you reach the max number of drops you’re planning to give.
We have found that a syringe with the necessary Infoceuticals works well for a horse.
Many dogs will drink most of their water each day, so if this is the case, drops can be added into
their water bowl (if they do not share a bowl with another dog). Of course make sure this doesn’t alter
whether they drink their water. (The drops will add a slightly salty taste.)
Many cats do not drink much water so for them or any dogs not drinking much, you can add the drops to their skin. We recommend doing so beneath the fur and directly on the skin.
miHealth Device: Animals typically love the miHealth and we encourage you to use the miHealth with all
animal clients if possible, in addition to using Infoceuticals. Using the miHealth on off-body mode while your pet is sleeping is a great way to run a customized cycle or other functions.
Emotions: The emotions screen is also used in a similar way as you would for humans. This information can be of considerable value when working with pets since they are non-verbal. Emotions only represent a topic with a charge in the field — it could have to do with feeling a lot or a little of that emotion, or the pet sensing it around him/her. In fact, some pet experts suggest that animals do not experience emotions as we do, but are more reflective of our own emotions. In some way, however, the emotional charge related to the scan could use some balancing.
